Touristic Route

Our beautiful colonial house is located in the historical downtown area, which was declared a world "Cultural heritage of Humanity."
 
At the heart of the city of Arequipa, this eighteenth century house is easily distinguished by its piercing blue indigo.
 
This house is visited and admired by tourists and passers-by for its architecture, its beautiful courtyards, and classical fountain. Its strong and contrasting colors enhance the beauty of this historical building.

Don Eduardo Lopez de Romaña y Alvizuri, who was the Peruvian President from 1899 to 1903, and his brother Don Alejandro, who served as President of the Minister Council in 1897 were born and raised in this house.
 
This fact is announced by a bronze plaque at the façade.
